I was talking to my sister today and she reminded me that before we officially began our lighthouse adventure,  we had one with her in Grand Haven.  I wasn't going to include this one, since Jackson wasn't born yet.  However, I was pregnant with him, so technically he was there.  The boys were two and Jackson still had six months before he made his appearance.
Aunt Kristen came to visit us for a week and we took a day trip to Grand Haven and Saugatuck.  They are both really cute little towns.  We went to the lighthouse, went to lunch, did a little shopping,  took the boys to the playground, had dinner and went back home.  Now that the boys are getting a little older it's getting easier to take them out for longer periods of time.  They do still take naps, but it's not the end of the world if they miss one once in a while.  They did really good, had a lot of fun, and slept really well that night.  I was raising two small children & pregnant when we went there, so I don't have a lot of details.  I do have some pictures, though, that show how small the boys were when the had their first lighthouse visit.
