This is just a short follow up to Road Trip Endeavour. As most of you know, Road Trip Endeavour was an awesome family vacation, but didn't go quite as planned. The Endeavour didn't launch as scheduled, we didn't let it ruin our vacay, but we still wanted to make a big deal of the launch when we returned home. The Endeavour launched at 8:56 AM on May 16, 2011, 17 days after we were scheduled to see it. We did extend our vacation in hopes of still being able to see it, but obviously we couldn't stay in Florida for an extra 2 1/2 weeks.
We still had a great time in Florida and had a really fun morning watching the launch. We are so sad that the program has since ended. Anyway, we all woke up excited and had a fun space breakfast to celebrate. We made homemade space pancakes. yummy yummy
