giveaway - The Sea I See

One thing we try to instill in our kids is a love of reading.  Right now they are at the age where all the books have pretty interesting illustrations, so it's not hard to keep their attention.  So, when we take the kids to places that have gift shops, I always try to find a good children's book. They love them and it cuts down on the amount of junk toys (believe me, they are not deprived in that area) that we accumulate.

Over spring break we spent a day at the Georgia Aquarium.  We just happened to be there on the same day as Shane DeRolf, author of "The Sea I See".  We purchased his book and the kids love it.  Lincoln and Spencer are five right now, so they are learning how to read.  This book is perfect for them.  There are only a few words that are too big for them, but most are small and the print is large.  The illustrations are amazing.  Check out the you tube video version of this book at the end of this post.

Shane DeRolf has offered to give away a book and write a dedication in the beginning of the book to a lucky reader!  Fill out the form below to enter.  We were in no way compensated for this giveaway.  We just enjoyed the book and thought you would, too!  If you would like to buy a copy of "The Sea I See", please contact Shane directly at shane@yesterdayszoo.com.

  1. Excited for this contest! Owen loves to be read to as well, and this book looks neat. It would also mix up our reading at night from being all about, "Thomas the Train".
