Next, we drove straight to the hotel, dropped off our bags and headed to dinner. We had Easter dinner reservations at Paula Deen's restaurant, Lady & Sons. It's located in downtown Savannah. We were able to walk there after we checked in. If it wasn't Easter we would not have been able to eat there. Except for six days a year, they have a no reservation policy. Normally, they start taking names at 9:30 a.m., in person only, for lunch and dinner. So glad I had it all planned out ahead of time. It was a delicious southern Easter dinner.
